How to use this page
This is the run sheet for launching an event — every box to tick before a
Daily Offer or a Marathon goes live. Work through
Every event, every time first, then the section for your event type. The
checkboxes remember themselves in your browser, so you can tick as you go; hit
reset under any list to start fresh for the next event.
If a term here is unfamiliar, the User Guide
explains every screen in detail. This page assumes you've read it once and just need
the "did I do everything?" pass.
Step 1
Every event, every time
Step 2A
Daily Offer launch
A Daily Offer runs in the storefront's normal daily-offer slot — homepage, cart, and the
mobile app all follow along. The launch itself is automatic and staged; your job is to
have the plan locked in early enough for the staging to happen.
Heads up
During the last ~4 minutes before start, the first wine is technically reachable on the
store (it has to be, for the storefront to accept it) — it just isn't featured anywhere.
That brief quiet window is by design and kept as short as possible.
Step 2A · continued
What happens on its own — the Daily Offer timeline
Once the event is scheduled, the system runs this sequence without you. The Live Board
shows each phase landing.
T−4 min
Staging
The first wine is quietly prepared and submitted to the storefront's offer
collection. The current offer keeps the spotlight; yours waits underneath it.
Board shows: 🎬 Pre-roll: staged.
by T−3 min
Confirmation
The system confirms the storefront accepted the wine. Board shows:
in collection ✓. If confirmation is running late you'll see a ⚠ warning instead —
the system keeps retrying, but the flip might slip past the exact start second.
T−5 sec
The flip
Your wine takes the front of the offer slot. This is the moment shoppers see
the new offer — timed so the change lands right on your start time, on the website and
the app together.
T−0
Event goes live
The board switches to live mode: bottles sold, pace, revenue, the elevation log.
From here it's a normal running event — swap rules, blocks, and controls all apply.
T+ seconds
Cleanup sweep
The previous offer (and any strays) are retired from the offer slot
automatically. Your wine is now the only thing in it.
Step 2B
Marathon launch
A Marathon takes over the storefront in special event mode — a different
look, a different collection, free-shipping messaging, the banner. Depending on how your
store is set up, Trellis flips that mode automatically at activation; if your store is
still on the manual process, the storefront steps below need a human. When in doubt, ask
whoever runs Trellis which applies.
Step 3
Watching it land
Keep the Live Board open through the start. In the first minutes of a healthy launch you
should see: the current-wine card filled in, bottles sold moving within
seconds of real orders, a fresh "last order" time on the event card, and the
elevation log narrating in plain sentences. On the storefront itself: the right wine
front and center on the homepage and in the app.
The board also tells you when something is not right — banners appear for:
a scheduled event past its start time that can't launch (with the exact reason),
a store missing its storefront configuration, the automatic engine being disabled or
stalled, and stray tagged wines competing for the slot. No banners is the goal.
Step 4
If something looks wrong
Before start: Unschedule, fix, re-schedule. If the board shows the
⚠ pre-roll warning close to start time, the flip may land a minute late — usually fine,
but tell whoever runs Trellis if it becomes a pattern.
During the sale: the manual controls always work, even if the automatic
engine is stalled — swap, advance, hold, and stop are yours regardless. "Bottles sold"
frozen while orders are clearly coming in means the order signal is down: manual controls
still work, but automatic swaps can't be trusted — switch wines manually and get the
Trellis team on it.
A Daily Offer that sells dry: when the offer sells out with nothing next
in the plan, the event holds instead of ending — the slot keeps the
sold-out wine, a Slack alert goes out, and the board banners it. Decide deliberately:
add a follow-up wine from the board, or let it ride until the next offer takes over.
Worst case (Marathon): the Bailout hands the entire planned lineup over
to the manual Marathon collection and stands Trellis down — ops runs the rest of the sale
by hand with the Collection Monitor. It's deliberately dramatic and requires typing the
word BAILOUT, so it can't be clicked by accident.
Set up two-factor authentication
Your account now requires a second factor. It takes a minute, and you only
do it once on this account.
1 — Scan with your authenticator app
Can't scan? Enter this key by hand:
2 — Enter the six-digit code it shows
Save your recovery codes
If you lose your phone, one of these gets you back in. Each works once.
This is the only time they are shown —
we store only a hash, so nobody can look them up for you later.
Two-factor code
Enter the six-digit code from your authenticator app.
Lost your phone?
Use a recovery code
Enter one of the codes you saved when you set this up. It will clear your
current authenticator so you can set up a new one — the code is then spent.

Out of codes too? An admin can reset your authenticator for you.
